We have a pile of stories that we would love to share, but a picture is worth a thousand words. So it took a while to make a selection of countless images of the last 6 months that will bring our story alive.
|
|
|
|
We have placed two Wikkelhouses of 6 segments each, on the Isle of Texel (The Netherlands). The two houses of this Wikkel-mansion are connected thru a side-passage. One house is the living room including a kitchen and the other house contains two bedrooms and a bathroom and it is not tiny at all.

Bouwexpo Almere – a tiny house village

We won a price and got the opportunity to build an 8 segment Wikkelhouse in Almere, together with 14 other tiny housing pioneers. It’s a little village where you are able to see inspiring tiny house designs. This Wikkelhouse is equipped with a complete kitchen and even a walk-in closet. We’ve rented out the Almere Wikkelhouse for the next two years.

In our previous newsletter, we gave a sneak preview of our bio-based shower cabin, made from hemp mixed with GreenPoxy, the eco-friendliest resin. The last 6 months we’ve produced all our shower cabins with this bio-based floor and it works great. The Wikkelhouse logo on the bottom prevents you from slipping.

The pantry is designed as wide as 1 segment and can be placed against the side of the wall. This will save a lot of space. You’ve got water and you can prepare a simple meal. Ideal for a basic Wikkelhouse or the office configuration.

What have you done these past 244 days?
|

|
|
|
We have added a Project-button on our website, so you are able to see a selection of Wikkelhouse projects like (rooftop) meeting-rooms, classrooms, short- and longstays.
|
|
|
|
|
We have found the right solar panels that fit the design of Wikkelhouse. In the near future, we will be able to make Wikkelhouse self-sufficient.
|
|
|
|
|
We have produced 25 Wikkelhouses in the Netherlands and UK and we are planning 30 next year with new customers in Germany and France.
|
|
|
|
Assembling has never been so much fun because we took a new Knikmops on board. It has been created to get each Wikkelhouse segment in any possible location. The machine is not only light and compact, but also fast and powerful for its weight range and is extremely easy to operate.
